Meet Dr. Ilya Rabkin

Dr. Ilya Rabkin is a board-certified family medicine physician with over a decade of experience delivering personalized, relationship-driven care. He founded ZinovyMed to create a more thoughtful and proactive model of healthcare—one that prioritizes time, accessibility, prevention, and long-term health.

Through ZinovyMed, Dr. Rabkin provides concierge medical care directly to patients’ homes and workplaces across the DMV area, combining modern medical technology with a deeply personal approach to care.

Training & Experience

Dr. Rabkin earned his medical degree from the University at Buffalo Jacobs School of Medicine, where he was recognized for his volunteer work with Habitat for Humanity and inducted into the Gold Humanism Honor Society for his commitment to compassionate, humanistic patient care.

He completed his Family Medicine Residency at Fairfax Family Practice in Virginia, serving as Chief Resident in his final year before joining the program as faculty. Dr. Rabkin later became an Assistant Professor at both Virginia Commonwealth University (VCU) and the University of Virginia (UVA), where he helped teach and mentor medical students.

He also holds an MBA from Johns Hopkins University, allowing him to combine clinical excellence with thoughtful healthcare leadership and innovation.

His Approach to Care

Dr. Rabkin chose family medicine because of his desire to become a true personal physician—someone who partners with patients to help them live healthier, longer, and more fulfilling lives.
